NAUKAS-Murcia. NAUKAS is the leading science communication event in Spanish. Its ninth edition was held at the Teatro Romeo in Murcia (May 20th, 2018).
Under the motto “Murcia and Life,” more than 800 seats were sold out to listen to scientific experts and speakers who demonstrated that Science is of public and social interest.
This time, in a community where experts in chemistry, physics, and mathematics are usually abundant, economic history also had its place. Susana Martínez-Rodríguez presented the talk “Economics, isn’t it for women?” a reflection on the role of women who have written the history of Economics and on the situations of inequality that still exist.
